Biography

He was born in 1952, he graduated form the Superior school of Decorative Arts and the Decorative Arts Academy in Prague. He teaches in the secondary school of Decorative Arts in glass carving.

“Through the form of my sculptures, I try to symbolise nature. I have always been fascinated by the glass as a material , because it’s the only material which is able to reproduce the fourth dimension : the interior space”.

Exhibitions and Awards

His first exhibitions go back to 1973, in Europe, the USA, Canada, Spain, Italy and Japan.

He received so many rewards namely honour prize in Coburg (D) in 1977, in Munich (D) in 1980, in Sapporo (J) in 1988.

His master pieces are available in official collections in  museums in the Czcheque Republic, in Germany, in Italy, in the USA, in Canada and in Switzerland.
